Hey ya’ll! My name is Jillian, and I am a child of God, wife, momma, child ambassador for World Vision, and a DIY-er! Welcome to my blog!
Ever since I was a young girl I have loved sewing, painting, building, baking, and creating just about anything.
Even though I was a pre-med degree student, my creative side has always reigned. I spent more energy drawing bones and muscles than I spent reviewing my anatomy notes 😬
I met my husband at a wedding. 😊 I was the maid of honor, and he was the best man. We became best friends, and the rest is history!
Soon after we got married my husband decided to fulfill a lifelong dream of his and join the military. What an adventure it has been! So far we have lived in Arizona, Kansas, and North Carolina.
I am a momma to 2 boys: 1 angel and 1 toddler. My first son, Easton, was stillborn. You can read more about him and his legacy here. My second son, Weston, was a preemie (27-weeker) and is thriving today. You can read more about him and his NICU journey here. We also have several animals! My two puppies, Louis and Red, are both rescue dogs, and we got them in between the time Easton and Weston were born. They are so crazy, but I love them anyway! We also have several chickens who provide us (and others) delicious eggs every morning -yum! Momma and Will are our two adorable goats. Momma is pregnant and I can’t wait to see the kids! The goats have become my favorite addition to our little farm.
I started this blog and shop to fulfill my creative urges. I am always making things for Weston and also making things in remembrance of Easton, so I figured why not share these ideas with other moms and angel moms? I know there are people who like to make things themselves and others who would rather buy them, so I will post tutorials as well as products for sale…and some freebies of course! I’ll post every Thursday, but if I need to write my heart out on other days, I’ll do that too!
I want to share both sides of my heart…the side that is a grieving mother to Easton, and the side that is a joyful mother to Weston. Sometimes it can be a balancing act or a roller coaster of emotions, but that’s okay!
Thank you so much for reading and for stopping by. I genuinely can’t wait to meet you, and I hope we can learn from each other! Please feel free to connect with me by emailing me at email@example.com
